HZO Faces: Scott Bean

HZO has experienced a tremendous amount of success and growth over the past few years, working with manufacturers to deliver technology solutions that protect electronics from submersion in liquids and exposure to corrosive environments. This progressive innovation and superior technology solutions is thanks in large part to the dedicated people who work tirelessly to support HZO’s growth initiatives—that includes everyone from R&D and Engineering all the way to Finance and Business Development.

HZO’s energetic corporate culture is the result of a diverse workforce made up of people from all corners of the earth. As a result, the supporting cast of characters have some pretty compelling, interesting and humorous stories and personalities. What better way to get to know the company that is changing where people use electronics than to get a little personal with some of the key players.

Today, we’re introducing Scott Bean, Business Development Manager on the Life Sciences team.

Scott is quickly approaching his one year mark at HZO, and as a Business Development Manager he seeks out new partnerships with health and lifestyle manufacturers. These may include products in wearable technology, medical and implantable devices, as well as companies who want to work with environmentally-friendly tiny technologies.

After graduating from Brigham Young University as a double major in Health Sciences and History, Scott fine-tuned his sales and management experience in companies throughout the SLC valley including a stint in pharmaceutical sales.  A bit more on the fun side of Scott;
