Celebrities, Designers & Waterproof TV’s
Three days down and one more amazing day left at CES 2015. Every year at this event some of the most mind-blowing and unique innovations of the past 12 months are released and showcased, and this year is no different. Among all the amazing products at the show, the unveiling HZO’s waterproof 40” TV has proven to be an overwhelming stand out. A TV running underwater unsurprisingly draws swarms of people who clamor to get a closer look and see how we do it.
Why coat a TV, you ask? Our answer is simple, “because we can.” Although we don’t know what the future market looks like for waterproof TV’s (underwater theaters maybe?), what we do know is that whatever the device, big, small or 40”, HZO technology can get the job done.
Among some of the visitors to our booth over the past three days, we had a couple very special visitors. Dolvett Quince of The Biggest Loser, released his new “Body Foam Roller” at the booth next to HZO, and when someone mentioned there was a TV running underwater, he had to come see what all the fuss was about. As you can see, he wasn’t disappointed.
Another special visitor was Sonhei Kumagai. Sonhei was one of the original designers of the Sony KDL40W600B, which was the TV that we used for our demonstration. He stumbled upon our booth by accident and was blown away to see the TV he designed, being used in a way he never thought possible.
From celebrities to TV designers, HZO continues to dazzle anyone who sees what our technology can do. The unveiling of the waterproof TV shows just how far we have come, and gives everyone a glimpse of the scope of HZO’s technology. From sensors for wearable technology to full size displays, the scope of our application is vast. 2015 has started off with a bang, and we can’t wait to show the world what we have in store for the rest of the year.
