HZO, Inc.’s revolutionary technology has been in water, beer, soda, and traveled around the world in a number of different devices, but now, HZO is about to make its most exciting trip yet.

During the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, HZO announced an exciting new partnership with NavELite, makers of a specially designed, backlit magnetic compass that is worn by everyone from the men and women of the U.S. military to the outdoor explorer and adventurer. According to Andrew Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of NavELite:

“This cutting-edge HZO technology will benefit the men and women of the U.S. military, in addition to consumers throughout the world who use our compass for navigational purposes – often in extreme conditions – when survival counts.”

The Partnership Goes North!

HZO is excited to help protect these great devices with the most robust form of water-protective nanotechnology available, and recently learned about a great opportunity for these HZO’d NavELite devices to really show what they are capable of achieving! NavELite is sending two compasses to the Arctic Ocean to brave a 16 day, 87 mile long expedition. During this journey, the compasses will tackle inescapable winds and threatening conditions involving freezing water and temperatures. The expedition will begin on February 16, 2013, and end on the 3rd of March, 2013. You can take a look at the map below to see the full travel rout of the expedition. Stay tuned for updates, and hopefully some really great pictures from their journey!

The HZO team wishes all of the travelers the best of luck, and can’t wait to hear how the NavELite – HZO compasses perform!
