Scaleable Reliability

When an industry-leading consumer electronics brand introduced hearables that required reliable waterproof/sweatproof protection congruent with its product design, form factor, and brand equity, it turned to the HZO Application Engineering team to meet these needs.

A strong partnership emerged as the customer increasingly relied on HZO to meet volume, production, and quality requirements. We have expanded where and when needed to meet and exceed requirements, optimized manufacturing locations throughout Asia, produced higher-performing mass production technologies, and explored novel chemistry designs to provide critical support.

To date, we have protected hundreds of millions of products in support of the program and continue to excel at achieving the high levels of quality that consumers and our customers expect. Specific metrics are proprietary, but we have continued to exceed industry standards and deliver the highest yields consistently. Our team continues to hone processes and provide additional process and chemistry developments to anticipate these products’ next-generation iterations.
