HZO is honored for being named winner of two Silver Stevie® Awards in the categories of Fastest Growing Company of the Year and Achievement in Product Innovation in The 18th Annual American Business Awards® both awarded on May 18, 2020. More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories.
The American Business Awards are the U.S.A.’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be virtually presented to winners during a live event on Wednesday, August 5.
As a high-growth company, HZO has been recognized locally and nationally as a company whose technology is disrupting current coating solutions to provide next generation protection for electronics across industries, from consumer electronics to sensors and IoT. Some of these awards include being named the Most Innovative Nanotechnology Solutions Provider 2019 by the North Carolina Corporate Excellence Awards and one of the 10 Most Impressive Wearable Technology Companies to Watch, 2019 by The Technology Headlines.
In August 2019, HZO relocated their headquarters to Morrisville, NC from Draper, UT, providing the company with 10x more manufacturing space and four times the research and development area. April 2020, the company announced the opening of a manufacturing facility which is HZO’s first Vietnam factory will bolster manufacturing capabilities, supporting industry diversification into various markets. This investment now expands the company footprint to include 15 locations worldwide including the United States, China, Switzerland, Hungary and Taiwan.
With continuous material science and product innovations, the most recent advancement comes in the form of our PRO750 Gen 4 equipment which is the latest generation of high throughput coating chambers. HZO’s latest innovation features the largest Parylene coating chamber in the industry, ushering in new possibilities for protecting next-generation microelectronics.
